The ladies in the clinic were very helpful and made me feel relaxed and welcome, as they have done every time I have gone back. The treatment procedure was explained along with the costs and payment plans.

Soon my life changed for the better as I started my treatment of hormones whilst being monitored by the clinic every three months. I also started the Real Life test in order to qualify for the sex reassignment surgery, when I can afford it.

I can honestly say that if it wasn’t for the Albany Clinic and the help I received from them that I might still be waiting to start my treatment, and looking for a way to cope with the feelings and emotions inside my head.

Thanks to the clinic, I have started to sort my life out and while I still have a long way to go, I have started and will get there no matter what I have to do.

Very many thanks for the excellent reception I received whilst visiting the clinic, you made me feel most welcome also thank you to the doctor who was very friendly and helpful. Thank you for introducing me to a fellow patient who I will be contacting in the near future.

The day was a complete success as I felt at ease being “Joanne” I felt very comfortable travelling by train and waiting at the stations.

I also visited the Transformation shop and was made very welcome by the girls who helped me to choose some earrings which were perfect and certainly enhanced my image.
